I just realized…. Question for THSC fandom…..I’m genuinely curious…. Am I the only who likes the idea of referring to Burt Curtis….as Bertram Curtis!? Burt Curtis is OBVIOUSLY his name…. But like I feel like his full name is Bertram Curtis…

Is that just me? 👀…. In my AU I refer to Burt sometimes with his “full name” as Bertram hehe

TLDR of this post: mental health bad from au, au hard to write, thsc lowkey kinda boring now, I like tf2 now

Long version vv

I love my AU but to be honest, it has been ruining my mental health. I originally made it as a continuation to my AU, ResetTale, back in late 2020. I was in a horrible mental state back then, and it got way worse over the years, which I then expressed using LetterTale characters

However since December, I have been in a much better environment with tons of therapy. I have been doing much better physically, emotionally, and mentally. However everytime I go back to LetterTale, all those miserable thoughts come back due to just... its topics. LetterTale is a fucking upsetting piece, that if I decide to put my full attention on it again it will destroy me. Don't get me wrong, I still like writing dark topics but.... LetterTale is just too much. The edge is basically stabbing me

Besides the topics being upsetting, it has so many rewrites that working on it is exhausting and gives me a headache. So much I have to remember, such a big project for a boy who just started highschool. I don't even understand algebra, how the fuck am I supposed to write such a deep and complex story, especially when I want it to have as little flaws as possible. It will probably always be super flawful, and there's so much I don't like from it or just want to improve on that I would have to rewrite so much already

I also just lost the passion for writing THSC. I love seeing other people's works of it, but I personally don't care for making it myself anymore. I can't tell of its because my 4 year hyperfixation finally died off or if it's caused by LetterTale or something like that. But either way, I just can't bring myself to write the silly stick figures in traumatizing horrific torture anymore

I'm also into TF2 now and I wanna do that. I love those sillies and how lighthearted (though lore filled and sometimes devasting) it is. I think its a much easier thing for me to do because its a little simpler, less dark, and much MUCH less exhausting to even just think about. I have a few drawings of them already if you guys are interested, not that it matters too much because I'll probably post it anyways.

.....okay, I'm not stoked about this. Why do i suddenly have a ton of new notes on the months-old post about the repost of raksura short stories that got the patreon nuked? Reblogs have been off for months.

And while I'm here, any insights on why new followers when i haven't done anything but whine about how creatively dead in the water I've been? These aren't the definitely-spam followers who get elided on the notifications, i got an email for each of these. Or the like on my old old post about the jones trial? Any insights on why all this?

None of these LOOK like spam blogs, and i was curious enough that i went and searched raksura and/or my name on here, reddit, and twitter to see if there was anything likely to have done this. But tbh I'm on the verge of deciding this is the latest shitty iteration of spam bots, now with an extra veneer of pseudoreality and reporting everyone involved for spam and blocking from sheer irritation

i lied, put your clothes back on. i want to talk about how social media has completely ruined the music scene to the point that bands are not recognized for their actual musical talent anymore but are instead made popular by how well they can work the algorithm to make the most viral video possible. no i dont want to guess who your drummer is, go make actual fucking music. and on that note, while people making singles for the sole purpose of getting incredibly popular and neglecting the rest of the album has been a thing for a while, it feels as though people are now not even bothering to make the entire single good; they only give a fuck about that little ten second clip that’ll get all popular on tiktok or whatever the fuck

you know, Idk if I have to say it, but, cut off those people who drain you. You shouldn’t always have to text first, your friendship shouldn’t end because you stopped talking.

And I know it sucks, that feeling of crippling loneliness. But when shit was absolutely the worst for me, when everything had fucking crashed and burned, I met a few people who finally reminded me what it meant to have someone care, and you’ll get it soon
